so I may have gone off radar for a little while.. I thought to myself, right lets get on this website & keep it updated as regularly as I can.. well.. I know I have failed at that miserably! but.. I have officially flown the nest & building my own little one including a sewing room, halleluiah! so I shall be posting that nice little development soon I promise! but I couldn't keep you guys in suspense & not show you the outcome of this little delight! very please with how this came out & it now being loved in a new home :) yay!

so below is a nice little shot of my top pattern on screen.. I thought it would be nice to show you how amazing it is to be able to pattern cut on screen. I had never heard of computer pattern cutting until I started as a sample cutter 5 years ago & only being able to manually pattern cut, this opened a delightful new door for me.. (worked on during ones lunch break)
So as I am trying to go through my sewing pile before I start bringing more cloth home with me.. (one day i will show you just how much cloth I do have under my desk at work *covers eyes*..) I HAD PREVIOUSLY MADE A DIRNDYL SKIRT BEFORE, which I have photographed here.. WITH ENOUGH TO MAKE SOMETHING little with IT BUT JUST DIDNT KNOW WHAT EXACTLY.. SO WITH MUCH DELIBERATION.. I AM GOING WITH a bralet style with contrast panelling & thick straps. so this in fact going to be joining onto the skirt to create a sweet little dress.
have attached my fancy illustrator sketch to show the look I'm heading for.
